How are our creams made?

Real lavender water infusion

Most of our creams starts with a real plant infusion. An infusion is a process very similar to making tea. We add real lavender flowers in small packets to hot water and allow the properties of the flowers to transfer to the water. To this, we add naturally sources ingredients and then heat the water phase to 70 degrees. To see the list of ingredients, click on each product in the details section.

Conservative agent:
Our conservation agent. In order to protect the product against bacteria or from quickly deteriorating in time, we add a product to ensure that it is safe for you to use. Our conservation agent is COSMOS and Ecocert approved and is generally classified as one of the best alternatives on the market.

Our natural oils :We then start the oil phase. Creams, lotion and all other creamy textured skin care products are an emulsion between water and oil. This involved heating both phases to around 70 degrees and then mixing them at high speeds to ensure that they mix properly.  The blended mixture is then homogenized. Homogenization is a process which breaks down molecules to a uniform size so that they resist separation.

Pure essential oils
Once this step has taken place, we let the blend cool to around 30 degrees and then add the essential oils. The composition of most essential oils changes when they are exposed to heat, so it is important to ensure that the temperature of the mixture is not too hot before introducing the oils. We then allow the blend to cool to room temperature before bottling. For more information about our production, please visit our about us page.
